He strives to stay on the cutting edge of treatment modalities in the operative and non-operative realms of patient care.
“We are excited to have Dr. Valosen on board at BJI,” said J. Lex Kenerly, MD, Orthopaedic Surgeon. “His extensive experience and expert skill as a surgeon are the perfect addition to our practice. During his military service, Valosen became the chief of the orthopaedic surgical clinic at Fort Stewart, was deployed to Iraq where he was awarded the Bronze Star, and implemented many advances in specialty musculoskeletal care for Army soldiers.
“I feel blessed to be able to provide the musculoskeletal medical care to the patients of the Bone & Joint Institute,” said Valosen. “The scope of my experience is broad, but my approach is always patient-centered. I strive to provide the best experience to each patient at each and every visit.”
Valosen is a diplomat of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, and a member of the Society of Military Orthopedic Surgeons. He has a particular interest in minimally invasive approaches to orthopedic surgery and advances in biological adjuncts to patient healing.
