New Clinic Location for Baxley
Baxley, GA – The Bone & Joint Institute of South Georgia (BJISG) has moved its Baxley office to a new, convenient location. The Baxley Satellite Clinic is now at 1093 West Parker Street, Suite A.
The original Baxley location opened in the mid 90’s as the first satellite location of the well-known Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Practice. The new office is directly across from Walmart, inside the South Georgia Diagnostic and Prevention Center, at the office of Dr. Clay Carter and Caroline Anderson, FNP, and offers the convenience of on-site x-ray, allowing patients more direct, personal contact with their BJISG physician.
W. Scott Rowell, P.A.-C, a Medical College of Georgia graduate who has been with the practice since 1998, remains the primary provider of the new Baxley clinic. Rowell and the BJISG physicians diagnose and treat a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including fracture management, arthritis of the hip, knee and shoulder replacement, and sports related injuries.
“The staff and doctors of BJI strive to make every location the very best by providing patients with the highest quality of orthopedic care possible,” said J. Lex Kenerly, Orthopedic Surgeon. “Baxley was our first satellite office, and we are so grateful for the continued support of this community, and the opportunity to provide patients in the area with the personal care and attention they expect from us.”
The Bone & Joint Institute of South Georgia provides comprehensive orthopaedic care, and features the Joint Commission accredited Surgery Center in Jesup, with digital surgical suites designed exclusively for orthopedic surgeries, and on-site x-ray services. Both the Jesup and Waycross locations house open MRIs, each awarded with accreditation from the American College of Radiology. Doctors J. Lex Kenerly, J. Matthew Valosen, and Christopher E. Swanson offer comprehensive, compassionate orthopedic care. Based in Jesup, BJI serves 13 Southeast Georgia counties, and has satellite offices in Baxley, Hinesville, and Waycross.
